33’s Barbershop in Partnership with the Trenton Thunder Announces Successful Wrap-Up of 2007 Season

Hamilton, New Jersey- August, 2007- 33’s Barbershop is pleased to announce the wrap-up of a successful season in partnership with the Trenton Thunder. This partnership allowed 33’s Barbershop to help out with Thunder’s charity, Grand Slam We Care Foundation and also engage the community.

This season, Trenton Thunder won it’s second straight Eastern League Northern Division title, and became the first and only franchise at the Double-A level or below in Minor League history to draw over 400,000 fans for 13 straight season.

“We are very proud of our partnership with the Trenton Thunder,” says Terry Borne, co-owner of 33’s Barbershop. “We had some fun and exciting events that were extremely well received and we look forward to continuing this partnership.”

Highlights of the partnership this season included:

33’s Cut above Kids : Throughout the 2007 season, fans could nominate area students at 33’s Barbershop to be honored before a game on the field where they were photographed and given the opportunity to meet some of the Thunder’s players and mascots.

Haircuts for Charity: On July 27 th and August 14 th, 33’s Barbershop gave haircuts at the Trenton Thunder stadium to raise money for the Thunder’s Grand Slam We Care Foundation in support of local scholarships and educational programs.

Expert barber and cosmetologist, Terry Borne, of the Borne family of PSS Warehousing and Transportation fame, and accomplished barber Ed Stackhouse came up with the concept of the 33’s Barbershop with the aim of providing the best in haircutting and men’s services in the region while hosting a state of the art and fun place to go as well.

Customers can relax watching a 42 inch big screen TV or play a round of golf while they wait. Kids can play electronic games on 3 game stations that include X-Box and little guys can get haircuts in the Bat Cave, which has two batmobile barber chairs to make the haircut more fun.

33’s turns a simple haircut into a fun experience for the family and provides spa offerings such as manicures, massages, waxing and hair coloring.
